Amit Tejpal is a consummate hotelier having qualified as a Post Graduate in Hospitality and BTS (IGNOU) from WelcomLegionnaire Program by ITC Hotels in 2007 and became the youngest revenue manager in the country the next year with ITC Hotels.
He later joined Oberoi Hotels (East India Hotels Ltd) as the youngest Front Office Manager in the history of the company, and thereafter rose to become the acting General Manager of Oberoi Cecil (one of the pre eminent properties in Shimla with a 100 year plus history) before he started his own restaurant in Kerala and later on his own consultancy ‘Tejpal Hospitality’ in Kolkata.
He has successfully executed award winning Restaurant and Hotel Projects around India, where he revamped the properties completely on the lines of 5 star Deluxe Hotels with an equivalent organization structure.
Amit is also a qualified Six Sigma Green Belt from ITC Hotels and amongst other accolades, he has been recognized as ‘Top 10 Hotel Consultants in India’ by Consultants Review Magazine. His company Tejpal Hospitality has also been rated as ‘Top 10 Hospitality Companies to watch out in India’ by Prime View Magazine.
As a keen hotelier himself, he is passionate about mentoring young hoteliers into World Class Luxury Hospitality.
